Cardio MMA
Infinite Variation: Cardio MMA takes the boredom out of fitness training by incorporating an endless variety of techniques and training methods to take you through aerobic and anaerobic thresholds. This program requires only that you work at an intense pace for you; therefore anyone at any fitness level can participate. You will be challenged with core training, plyometric drills, strength training and pure cardio in five five minute rounds structured like a championship MMA fight.
Intensity: When we say the program is intense, we do so with the understanding that not everyone can perform at the same level. We only ask that you perform as intensely as you are capable of. By intense, we mean a high workload in a given period of time.
Power vs. Strength: Cardio MMA focuses more on the development of power (think speed plus strength) because that is what is required in a real self-defense situation. It also has the benefit of actively engaging your core throughout the workout, which will not only make you perform better but look better. Strength is an element of power, so we include strength training for muscle building and constant movement to keep your heart rate up and burning calories.
Functionality: Looking better and feeling better are natural results of Cardio MMA training, but you will truly be amazed to discover what you can do. You'll find that you have more energy throughout the day. Basic chores and common jobs you perform will become far easier. This is a result of the fact that we insist all of our training be geared toward performing, not in an air conditioned gym, but in the world around you. Get ready to be challenged.
